The One Thing I Would Change
If there was one thing I would change, I would change the fact that my grandparents died. Since my two grandpa's died in 2007 and 2008 and my grandpa passed away in 2011. I have not been the same person. When I was younger, when my two grandpa'a were living, I used to be a very happy child. As soon as my grandpa Keaton died in 2007, I started having extreme panic attacks. There were times when I would be extremely depressed, although my mother would tell me that I was greiving. Three months later, my grandpa James died. I was still suffering from panic attacks but, they were worse. Overtime, they started to go away. Then 3 years later, my grandma died. Out of all my grandparents, my grandma was the one I was the most closest to. All in all, it is very sad not to have any Grandparents in my life.

Who I Value The Most
Who I value the most is my mother. The reason why I value her the most is because she has always been there for me, through the good times and bad times. For instance when I was bullied in the 5th grade, she was there. When I had to present a project at school, she taught me everything she knew about presenting in front of an audience. Even though sometimes we have our disagreements, we always found a way to come to an conclusion. Whenever I have stressful days my mother would tell me to read a Bible verse, and to pray about the situation. Whenever I was sick, she always knew what to do. She would make a special tea made from peppermint, lemon juice, and honey. The remedy was passed onto my mother from my grandma and then to me. My mother is my best friend, and the best mom anyone could ever have.

The Jevon Terance Documentary
On September 14, 2013 I went to see the Jevon Terance Documentary with a close friend. I even got to meet and take a picture with Jevon Terance himself. The documentary was short and straight to the point. It was all about how Jevon designs his clothes from sketching, to sewing and picking out the fabrics for his designs. Jevon even showed off his designs at a runway at LCCC and in other Ohio cities. After the documentary,I went to his store. I really enjoyed the documentary and Jevon was an inspiration to me because I want to become a Fashion Designer in the future.

What I Did This Summer
One thing I did this summer was travel to Washington D.C. I traveled with my cousins from Lorain, and met my other cousins from Florida in D.C. I was very happy to see them. In D.C., we visited a lot of places, Those places included the Pentagon Mall, Fredrick Douglass's home, the White house, Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, and the Smithsonian Institution. At the MLK memorial, I saw Martin Luther King Jr's sculptor Lei-Yixin. People were taking photos of him, although I did not get to. When we went to Fredrick Douglass's home, we learned about his history as a runaway slave. Fredrick Douglass was married two times. In his first marriage he was married to a black woman and in his second marriage he was married to a white woman, which caused a lot of controversy. Douglass was a very rich man, and he often spoke to the public. Douglass also had civil rights leader Susan B. Anthony, and Harriet Tubman, who was the leader of the underground railroad, stay over at his home for important meetings. In the resource center, Douglass's face mask was on display. The face mask was made when he died in the hallway of his home. His death was caused by a heart attack.

Brieana
Two names in one, sort of like two for the price of one, what a tease.
Put them together then you have Brieana.
The name Brieana has the meaning of strength.
Mom had to take steroids to go the length.
Her doctor wanted to make sure she did not deliver early.
The result was a 5 pound 4 ounce 21 inch long girly.
Brieana is optimistic, intelligent, energetic, and inspiring.
Brie is a treat from the French region and is like a soft cow's milk cheese.
The other part rhymes with an island restaurant called Cabana.
But, it is not that exciting, just plain old Ana.

Trust and Believe in Yourself
My favorite rule is for people to trust and believe in themselves. In order for people to trust and believe in themselves I feel they must trust and believe in God. I believe that trust and believe actually go hand and hand because if people will believe in themselves they can trust themselves. Think about it this way, if people do not believe in themselves who else is going to believe in them and if they do not trust themselves who else is going to trust them. People tell others that "they can be anything they want to be in life". But what they do not tell them is that they have to first believe they can be anything they want to be in life. Just saying to themselves that they can be anything they want to be is not going to make their ambition come true. Do all people think that they can trust and believe in themselves? If not, think about this verse from Psalm 9:10, And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
